Our Story
The First Spark
Everything began with a single watch. The first automatic watch I ever purchased was a Hamilton Open Heart — a watch that didn't just display time; it felt alive from within. With every movement of the wrist, it awakened, and with every pause, it slowly returned to silence.
Yet what initially felt captivating soon became a repetitive routine: constant winding, resetting, and the gradual loss of the watch's natural rhythm. In search of a simple solution, I discovered the concept of a watch winder. At the time, however, the market either offered nothing at all, or products that failed to meet the standards I had envisioned. That moment became the beginning of a different path: building the first prototype for personal use.
The Revelation
Months of daily use, experimentation, and refinement gradually revealed everything. Every weakness, limitation, and overlooked detail became clear through real experience. And when compared with the products available on the market, one reality stood out unmistakably: many mid-range — and even high-range — watch winders suffer from fundamental shortcomings at the core of the ownership experience.
The absence of precise TPD adjustment, limited rotation control, repetitive and characterless designs, predominantly plastic construction, and the lack of genuine operational control were only part of the problem. Even features that now seem essential — such as intelligent scheduling or remote management — were absent from most products.

The Birth of Nexus
It was from this realization that Nexus was born. Not merely as a technological project, but as a response to a personal need — and ultimately, a different perspective on the preservation of fine mechanical watches.
The objective was to create a device worthy of accompanying a timepiece valued in the thousands; not simply a tool, but an object aligned with the lifestyle of its owner. At Nexus, luxury takes precedence over the display of technology. Because those who choose an automatic watch are drawn not only to technical complexity, but to emotion, identity, and prestige.
From Sketch to Sculpture
Every Nexus product is shaped by this philosophy: a balance of distinctive design, authentic materials, and precise engineering. Our solid wood enclosures are not merely aesthetic choices, but deliberate expressions of warmth, authenticity, and permanence.
Each device is the result of both precision CNC machining and hand-finished craftsmanship. Parts of the process are industrial, yet the soul of the work remains unmistakably human. The result is something neither entirely machine-made nor entirely handcrafted, but a creation that exists between the two, with an identity entirely its own.
Alongside design, flexibility remains an inseparable part of the Nexus philosophy. Precise TPD adjustment, selectable rotation direction, intelligent scheduling, and complete digital control are all designed so that every watch can operate exactly as it was intended to.
The Journey Continues
Today, Nexus is a journey — not merely a product. In time, that journey may expand into luxury watch and jewelry storage cases, display stands, and even uniquely designed desk clocks with their own independent identity. Yet at the heart of everything, one principle will remain unchanged: respect for time, and respect for the objects that carry it.
This journey began with one person, one watch, one idea, and a collection of personal experiences. Today, Nexus remains the continuation of that same vision: creating objects that do not merely function, but possess meaning.
